Credit card

We only ask for the £10.00 Data Protection Fee to be attached to your Form of Authority. This is the maximum amount your bank can charge to supply us with all your charges history dating back to July 2001. We never ask you for any money upfront or towards any associated costs incurred in the complaint & reclaim process.

Because of the landmark ‘test’ case at the High Court the banks have been given a waiver by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) to deal with these complaints while the legal battle continues. This means for most cases we can take your complaint to your bank and ask them to record the complaint file and refund request. We Hold and track your claim calculating interest daily until your refund is actioned. We then keep track of the legal issues and continue correspondence and reporting with you and your bank until the test case result has been made public and the Office of Fair Trade have made their decision in relation to the fairness and level of charges going forward.

The FSA waiver

is expected to remain in place until July 2009. There are millions of these complaints already registered with UK banks so it is important to get your complaint registered and recorded as quickly as possible. Our bespoke software package will ensure your complaint file is registered with your bank the moment the OFT has concluded its investigation and will calculate interest to the exact date meaning you get the full amount of your refund and that you are at the front of the queue when payments finally begin being made.

Once you have registered a claim with Reverse Bank Charges, you will be issued with a 10-digit log in code which will enable you to log in to all your claims and keep a track on each claim as it progresses. All your cases will be easy accessible and easy to understand. If any of your files are updated the system will automatically email, SMS or generate a letter to advise you of this – keeping you fully up to date at all times.
